The apricot jam with Calissons is an original recipe created by aix&terra in the heart of the French Provence. It combines the scents of apricots from the Drôme region with the sweetness of Aix en Provence calissons and almonds. The calissons are a typical confectionery from the south of France, made from a thin paste of candied melon, almonds, topped with royal icing. It is the specialty of Aix-en-Provence, the home of Aix & Terra. Ripe and juicy apricot are cooked in an old-fashioned cauldron, it is a craft creation with the scent of fruits and almonds. We recommend it on toasted bread, croissants, yoghurt, pastry, cakes and pudding.
