A natural apricot jam from the Mahjoub estate in the North of Tunisia for breakfast and pastry
The bitter orange marmalade (Great Taste Star Winner) by Moulins Mahjoub is made from the Sevilla variety of orange, whose flowers are highly prized around the world for their delicate fragrance and are distilled to produce orange flower water. The oranges in this product grow from flowers mistakenly missed during an early harvest for the flower water. We recommend the bitter orange marmalade with toasts, scones and fresh cheese. Les Moulins Mahjoub is a producer of natural Southern Mediterranean fine foods based in Tebourba, in the North of Tunisia. The mild weather combined with the water supply of the Medjerda river have enabled les Moulins Mahjoub to grow a large variety of fruits and vegetables on their farm and to control every step of the production. In order to reach the optimal taste, the oranges are picked at the peak of their taste and transported to the kitchen nearby to be transformed into a delicious marmalade.
Commenting on the bitter orange marmalade, the Great Taste judges found : "very good flavour, not too sweet, balanced with bitter notes.."
