The organic Domaine Fendri extra virgin olive oil (2018/2019 new harvest) is a premium extra virgin olive oil from the Centre of Tunisia, a particularly dry and sunny region. It is produced from hand-picked olive from the Chemlali variety. It is a mild and mellow olive oil, which is very easy to use on any dish. We find it particularly well suited for salads, fish, dipping as well as general cooking. Its mild and balanced taste has quickly made it one of our most popular premium oils. It combines aromas of melon, apple, dry herbs with a creamy taste with a light bitterness.
It is produced similarly to our Italian and Spanish premium olive oils, with an oil extraction at low temperatures shortly after the harvest. It is subsequently filtered and stored without contact with air.
Year after year, it is winning more and more international awards. It won the gold medal at BIOL in 2016, 2017 and 2019, the international organic olive oil competition and was a finalist in the Mario Solinas Quality Award of the International Olive Oil Council. Domaine Fendri was also ranked as the best Tunisian olive oil by Evooleum, the international olive oil competition in 2017.
