It is likely that you will find that our oils have much stronger taste and flavour, even the mildest ones. This is related to the fact that we source a particular type of extra virgin olive oils which are produced from early harvest and cold extracted within a few hours. This process allows to preserve the natural flavours of the olives as well as large proportion of the their healthiest compounds. The oil masters aim at producing olive oils with a stable and well defined sensory profile.
-
Absolutely not. Bitterness, alongside fruitiness and spiciness is one the 3 key positive attributes of extra virgin olive oils. Many of the healthiest olive oils display bitterness in their profile. The level of bitterness depends primarily on the variety of olives and the production process. In our olive oil collection page, you can choose the olive oil which best matches you taste by using the available filters.
