Introducing Pacioni Raggia & Pacioni Leccio del Corno

The Artisan Olive Oil Company is proud to announce the launch of two outstanding new extra virgin olive oils from Italy: the Pacioni Raggia Italian Extra Virgin Olive Oil and the Pacioni Leccio del Corno Italian Extra Virgin Olive Oil. Both oils are now available online and mark an important milestone in the company’s mission to curate the finest Italian olive oil from rare artisan producers.

Produced as single-estate, monocultivar extra virgin olive oils, both Pacioni oils are cold extracted, exceptionally low in acidity, and naturally high in polyphenols. Crafted from rare Italian olive varieties, they offer distinctive flavour profiles that reflect the unique terroir of Le Marche and the meticulous approach of their producer.

Rare Oils from Rare Italian Olive Varieties

The Raggia olive variety is prized for its vibrant, expressive character, delivering a complex sensory profile with notes of green tomato, fresh herbs, and a refined peppery finish. The Leccio del Corno, a far rarer cultivar, produces a beautifully balanced oil with elegant bitterness, gentle spiciness, and remarkable aromatic depth.

Both oils are harvested at optimal ripeness and milled immediately using cold-extraction techniques, preserving freshness, flavour, and nutritional value. Their high polyphenol content makes them not only outstanding in taste but also rich in natural antioxidants.

About the Producer: Il Frantoio del Piceno

These oils are produced by Il Frantoio del Piceno, a family-run mill located in the rolling hills of Le Marche, Italy. Renowned for its uncompromising quality standards, the producer combines generations of olive-growing expertise with modern milling technology. Every step of production — from grove management to extraction — is handled with precision, respect for nature, and a deep commitment to quality.

Expanding Italy’s Olive Oil Map

The Artisan Olive Oil Company is delighted to collaborate with such a rare artisan producer. With this launch, the company expands its curated coverage of Italian olive oil regions — having previously focused on Sicily, Tuscany, Abruzzo, and Apulia, it now proudly adds Le Marche to its growing portfolio.

This expansion reinforces the company’s commitment to showcasing authentic, terroir-driven Italian olive oils that express regional identity and artisanal craftsmanship.

A Word from the Founder

“Pacioni Raggia is one of my favourite premium olive oils for dipping,” says Yacine Amor, olive oil sommelier and founder of the Artisan Olive Oil Company. “Its intensity, balance, and aromatic complexity make it extraordinary with fresh bread — a true expression of what great Italian olive oil should be.”
