Moulins Mahjoub Organic Artichoke Hearts in Extra Virgin Olive Oil 200g

The organic artichoke hearts in extra virgin olive oil come from a local variety of Northern Tunisia called Òviollette harvested between mid-February to mid-May. The artichoke hearts are preserved in extra virgin olive oil, which is also produced by Moulins Mahjoub.

Artichokes are a key ingredient of the Mediterranean cuisine, from North to South shores. They are very easy to use in salads or anti-pasti but can also be cooked in a stew, tagine or roasted with fish or meat as well as in pasta or rice dishes. As with all of the Mahjoub products, they are produced using traditional farming methods with no additives or artificial processes.

The Moulins Mahjoub Organic Artichoke Hearts in Extra Virgin Olive Oil received a Great Taste Star in 2025. Here are some of the judges comments : "A most attractive-looking artichoke heart with a meaty texture and a deep, earthy flavour profile that is elevated by the fragrant spices".
