Organic wild mountain capers (100g format) are one of Moulins Mahjoub's most popular preserves. Grown on the Mahjoub estate near Tebourba, the capers are the flower buds of a native Mediterranean bush that grows in the mountains of Tunisia. Unlike most commercial capers, Mahjoub’s capers are packed in salt (sea salt) to preserve their distinct flavour and are free of any additives, preservatives or artificial ingredients. We recommend the organic wild mountain capers in salad dressings, stews and fish dishes.
Based in Tebourba in the lush Medjerda Valley in the North of Tunisia, Moulins Mahjoub is an organic farm which produces natural ingredients and recipe typical of the Southern Mediterranean cuisine. Inspired by the Berber tradition, Moulins Mahjoub has been developing its recipes over close to 30 years seeking to share the authentic and natural taste of the Tunisian food.
