Italian Extra Virgin Olive Oil (500ml)– Pacioni Leccio del Corno

Pacioni Leccio del Corno is a premium Italian extra virgin olive oil produced in the Marche region by Il Frantoio del Piceno, a family-run estate known for precision milling and high-quality monocultivar oils. This oil is made exclusively from Leccio del Corno olives, harvested from a single estate and processed using cold extraction and filtration to ensure purity, stability and consistency. Thanks to its outstanding analytical values, it also qualifies as a high polyphenols olive oil, combining sensory intensity with excellent nutritional characteristics.

The Producer: Il Frantoio del Piceno

Il Frantoio del Piceno is located in the heart of the Piceno area, in Le Marche, where rolling hills, good altitude and constant sea breezes create ideal conditions for olive cultivation. The Pacioni family follows a quality-driven approach, harvesting olives early and milling them quickly to preserve freshness, aromatic compounds and phenolic content. Their production philosophy balances tradition with modern extraction technology, resulting in expressive and well-structured Italian extra virgin olive oils.

Olive Variety & Extraction

Leccio del Corno is a cultivar of Tuscan origin that performs particularly well in the Marche terroir, producing oils with strong structure and balance. The olives are harvested at optimal ripeness and cold extracted below 27°C, then filtered to remove excess moisture and solids. This process enhances shelf life while maintaining flavour integrity and phenolic richness.

High Polyphenols Olive Oil – Quality Parameters

This Italian extra virgin olive oil stands out as a high polyphenols olive oil, with the 2025/2026 harvest recording approximately 540 mg/kg of polyphenols and an exceptionally low acidity of less than 0.2%. These values contribute to the oil’s pronounced bitterness and spiciness, as well as its antioxidant properties and overall stability.

Sensory Profile & Food Pairings

On the palate, Pacioni Leccio del Corno shows a medium to intense green fruitiness, with clear notes of fresh herbs, almond and artichoke, followed by a persistent, peppery finish.
It pairs particularly well with:

  • Roast and grilled red meats

  • Tuna carpaccio and raw fish

  • Grilled or roasted vegetables

  • Legumes and rustic dishes

It is also excellent simply served with bread, making it a favourite oil for dipping and finishing.
